Thomas Boakye donates to Asman Children's Home

The Swedish-based Ghanaian footballer donated items worth million of cedis to orphans at the Asman Children's home.

Halmstads BK star Thomas Boakye has extended his kind gesture to the Asman Children's home by donating items to the Orphanage home.

Items donated by the former Right to Dream Academy graduate includes bags of rice, bottled water, cooking oil, assorted drinks and other foodstuffs.

Last month, the 26-year-old who dubs as an artist promised to give back to the society from the exhibition of his works in the Halmstad community.

The Ghanaian international visited the Orphanage home together with his family and friends to show love and put back smiles on the faces of the deserted kids.

Boakye has made several donations to underprivileged people in the West African country — he donated books and other educational materials to his alma mater in 2017.

In 2018, he also donated items worth millions of cedis to the Kumasi Children's home.

He scored three goals in his 27 appearances for Halmstad BK during their 2019 season campaign.

Boakye is still eligible to represent Ghana despite featuring for the England U19 team.
