OFFICIAL: Nicholas Opoku joins French club Amiens SC

The French Ligue 1 side have completed the signing of the Black Stars centre-back in the ongoing transfer window.

Amiens SC have announced the capture of Nicholas Opoku on loan from Italian club Udinese Calcio.
The 22-year-old was confirmed as a new player of the Unicorns lads after passing a mandatory medical earlier today.
Udinese announced on their official website that the Ghanaian has moved on a deal until June 2020 with an option to buy.
The French club picks up the former Club Africain player after 22 matches across all tournaments for Udinese and he leaves the club 18 months after arriving at the Dacia Arena.
This term the 22-year-old centre-back played seven games in Serie A for the Bianconeri and three times in the Coppa Italia and has collected six caps for Ghana since he arrived at the club for €1.5m in July 2018.
Amiens are 18th in Ligue 1, three points away from safety as they’re currently holding a play-out position.
