Shafiu Mumuni arrives in Romania to complete CFR Cluj move Featured

Romanian top-flight club CFR Cluj are set to announce the signing of Ghana striker Shafiu Mumuni for their next season's campaign.
 
The 24-year-old left the shores of Ghana weeks ago to conclude talks with the five-time Romanian Liga I champions.
 
Mumuni watched CFR Cluj's Europa League clash with Spanish side Sevilla on Thursday.
 
He is expected to sign a contract with club in the coming days, according to his agent who told Ghanaian journalist Saddick Adams.
 
Earlier this year, the Ashanti Gold skipper was heavily linked with a move to Algerian club ES Setif.
 
Mumuni was crowned top scorer for the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations after netting four goals after the tournament.
 
He made history to become the first-ever player to register a hat-trick at the tournament held in Senegal last year
 
Mumuni scored one goal in his four appearances for Ashanti Gold SC in the ongoing Ghana Premier League
