Ghanaian footballer dies in Bangladesh Prison

Bangladesh based Ghanaian striker passed away on Friday.
 
 
Ghanaian footballer Frank Twum is reportedly dead after battling illness in Bangladesh Prison.
 
Earlier this year, the 36-year-old striker and other Richard Dzifa Appiae, 28, were arrested and detained for possessing 7,500 pieces of Yaba tablets.
 
The two Ghanaian footballers have been facing charges since  January for possessing the drug which contain a mixture of methamphetamine and caffeine, which is illegal in many South-East Asian countries.
 
According to reports, Twum was hospitalized since last week due to ailment. 
 
He was to appear in court to know his jail term in June.
