Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas are readying themselves to swoop for the services of Ghana and Kayserispor attacker Bernard Mensah come at the end of the league season.

The 25-year-old gangling frontman has been a prime transfer target for the Black Eagles since January following his explosive performances this term.

According to Turkish Newspaper Hurriyet, Besiktas would wait until the end of the league campaign before making an official approach for the services of the former Atletico Madrid man.

Again, the paper claims that the current position of Kayserispor in the league standings is going to serve as a catalyst for the chase of the Black Stars forward as the Anatolian Stars outfit are on the verge of losing their premiership status should the season comes to a close.

Mensah's running contract with Kayserispor expires in 2022 but could still be lured by the lstanbul-based club as he would not be ready for a lower tier competition in the Southast European country.

The current market value of the 25-year-old forward is €2.4m, according to transfermarket.
