The Black Stars left-back has returned to the English Premier League club for their next season's campaign.

Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman has rejoined Chelsea following the expiration of his loan deal with Real Mallorca.

Rahman has returned to his parent club after his one-year loan deal with the Spanish La Liga outfit  expired.

Kickgh.com understands that Real Mallorca turned down an option to extend his stay with the end of the season due to his health condition.

The 25-year-old has been out of action since September 2019 due to knee injury which made him featuring only three times in all competitions for Real Mallorca during his loan stint.

He has endured a frustrating football career with series of career threatening injuries since 2017.

Rahman has a contract to keep him at the Stamford Bridge outfit until summer 2022.

He has been loaned out to three clubs namely Schalke 04, Stade Reims and Real Mallorca after Chelsea paid 20 million Euros to sign him from Bundesliga club FC Augsburg.
