Ghana's Jeremy Doku leaving Anderlecht Featured

The 18-year-old teenage sensation is dragging his feet over a new deal with the Purple and White as he pushes for a move abroad in the ongoing summer transfer window

The Belgium-born of Ghanaian origin Jeremy Doku is set to leave RSC Anderlecht in the Jupiler Pro League, according to reports from the Belgian media.

Anderlecht are determined to keep hold of the enterprising youngster as they look forward to building a long-term project around their future youth star prospects.

According to football news publication outlet  , Jeremy Doku together with team-mate Yari Verschaeren have failed to reach an agreement over contract extension as both are eyeing a transfer move abroad.

lt is believed that the Lotto Park outfit would sell the 18-year-old duo to appropriate suitors should right offers be tabled for their services by admirers.

Doku is currently on the radar of German giants RB Liepzig with AC Milan and Liverpool also in the running for his signature.

The talented winger featured in 21 league games for Anderlecht during the 2019/20 Jupiler Pro League having scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists.

His contract with the Belgian record league champions will expire in 2022.

According to transfermarket, Doku's price tag is €9m.

The Borgerhout-born of Ghanaian descent could still swap Belgium for Ghana at the international level albeit featuring for the European country at the youth levels.
