Isaac Donkor leaves Austrian club Sturm Graz Featured

The stalwart centre-back has left the Austrian Bundesliga club following the expiration of his contract, can exclusively confirm.
Ghanaian defender Isaac Donkor has ended his stay with Sturm Graz after his short deal expired.
Sturm Graz failed to meet demands of the 24-year-old for a new deal after his short contract had expired on June 30 due to financial constraints.
Donkor joined the Austrian top-flight side from Romanian club Universitatea Craiova during the last summer transfer window.
He has been impressive for Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga, making 14 appearances in the second half of the season.
The Kumasi-born emerged as a propect at Inter Milan where he was a key figure for the club's youth side.
He spent seven years at Italian Serie A club Inter Milan where he was farmed out to Bari, Avellino and Cesena.
Donkor featured five times for Inter Milan in the Italian Seria A and Europa League in the 2014/15 season.
The 24-year-old left Inter Milan for Cesena on a free transfer in 2017 before sealing a move to Romanian club Universitatea Craiova two years ago.
At Universitatea Craiova, he scored one with two assists in his 34 game outings during his stay in Romania.
