Head coach of Hassacas Ladies, Yussif Basigi has lauded the performance of his players stating they are still keeping their eyes on winning the ultimate after booking their place into the last four.

The 'Hasmal Ladies' became the first team in the tournament to cruise into the semi final after thumping on Malian side AS Mande by 3-0 in match-day 2 of the group stages.

Another man of the match performance was witnessed from star girl Evelyn Badu who notched another brace to increase her goal tally to four making her the current top scorer in the competition.

Perpetual Agyekum also scored again from a sumptuous free kick to seal the victory- a typical emulation of their opening game.

Speaking in a post-match presser, Yussif Basigi has praised his girls stating they won because of their constant hardwork and added by saying their approach for next game is going to be different. He said;

"We won because of our hardwork and our mindset right from day one that is exactly what my players are doing now. We are very determined for the ultimate."

"We ain't looking back, we take it game after game and our approach in our next game will be different. Degla are not bad, they are a good side though they have some bit of inexperience in their team."

Hassacas Ladies will face host, Wadi Degla on Thursday at the same venue in their next and final fixture of the first phase of the competition.
