The female U17 national team of Ghana continued their impressive run in 2018 FIFA U17 World qualifiers as they whip Gambia on Saturday. 
Ghana have qualified to the next round of qualifications following their 2-0 victory over the Scorpions of Gambia at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The Black Maidens were held by their West African counterpart to a scoreless draw in the first half of the game.
Lady Strikers FC midfielder Suzzy Dede Teye snatched the opener for the Black Maidens in the 85th minute of the game.
A 92nd minute goal from Mukarama Abdulai completed their home victory over the scorpions of Gambia.
Ghana booked their place to the next round of qualifications on a 7-1 aggregate after thrashing Gambia 5-1 in first league tie in Banjul.
Coach Adotey's side will now face Djibouti in the next stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for a place in the tournament to be staged in Uruguay.
