Head Coach of the National U-20 side Black Satellites, Abdul Karim Zito has handed Emmanuel Acquah, a 16-year-old old midfielder for National Division side, Achiken FC his maiden call-up into the national team.

Emmanuel Acquah was named along with sixty-nine other players in Zito's who are to begin camping on Sunday at Ghanaman Centre for Soccer Excellence.

When we talk of a team’s game management, it’s only ever as good as the man they have in the middle of the park. Thankfully for Achiken FC, they have one of the best in Ghana's second tier.
Despite his tender age, he's been enormous in the Achiken setup He’s been enormous with his fighting spirit, energy, and ferocity in midfield embodying his manager’s philosophy brilliantly. The combative midfielder is always seen setting the tone beautifully for his side, flying into tackles, pressing relentlessly, and tracking back doggedly, as his physicality unsettles the opponents.
Using his spatial awareness, he craftily buzzes laterally on the pitch, always looking to present his center-halves with an option in their attempts to pass out from the back. He is not interested in scoring goals, but the player who will pass to the scorer. His job is to anticipate, intercept, pass, and anticipate.
In the just truncated Division One league, he won 5 MVPs in 10 appearances for the Adansi Hweremoase based outfit. Despite a pool of talented players, Emmanuel Acquah is expected to make the cut.
The Black Satellites will represent Ghana in the Zonal WAFU B tournament in Togo, with the hope of grabbing one of the two available slots for the African Championship.
