The Black Stars gaffer said his side was not outplayed by the Mali in their international friendly on Friday evening.


Ghana coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has disclosed that his side was unlucky to loss 3-0 to Mali because the  performance of Mohamed Magassouba's charges wasn't extraordinary

Ghana suffered a 3-0 heavy defeat to the Eagles of Mali in an international friendly staged at the Emir Hotel Sports Complex in Turkey on Friday evening
Goals from Hamari Traoré, El Bilal Toure and Amadou Haidara handed Mali a 3-0 resounding victory over the Black Stars of Ghana.
Akonnor insisted his charges were unlucky to drop points against the Eagles of Mali and also blamed lack of organization for the humiliation.
I won't blame the players for the defeat but the key thing which resulted our loss to Mali was that the team was not organized," Akonnor told Adom TV
"The players didn't know themselves because most of them were debutants and even the first time they're playing together."
"We trained for only two days and there was lack of understanding as well. These are the few things which affected us during the game"
