The budding talented midfielder has earned his debut call-up to represent Ghana at next month's 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header against Sudan.


German-born of Ghanaian descent Jamie Leweling has earned his first-ever invitation to the senior national team of Ghana.

Leweling was among the 23-man squad list announced by Black Stars head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor on Friday evening.
The 19-year-old currently plays for German Bundesliga II club Greuther Fürth where he has made six appearances with an assist for the second-tier club.
Leweling was born to a Ghanaian father and a German mother which made him eligible to represent any of the two countries.
He featured for German at the U19 and U20 level.
Leweling joined Greuther Fürth at age 16 from FC Nurnberg on a free transfer.
He made his professional debut for Greuther Fürth in the Bundesliga II on 28 July 2019, coming on as a substitute in the 85th minute for Tobias Mohr in the home match against Erzgebirge Aue
