The talented right-back has received a late call-up to the senior national team of Ghana for 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan.

Asante Kotoko defender Christopher Nettey has been handed an invitation to the Black Stars of Ghana by Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor.

The 22-year-old has earned a call-up to the Black Stars as replacement for Columbus Crew defender Harrison Afful who can't make a trip to Ghana for the crunchy encounter.
Nettey becomes the latest player to receive a call-up after Prince Adu Kwabena, Majeed Ashimeru, Joseph Attamah Larweh and Afriyie Acquah.
Ghana will be battling out with Sudan in the first leg tie at the Cape Coast Stadium on November 12 and travel to face them in Omduram after five days.
Nettey had an incredible season with Asante Kotoko last term after joining them from lower-tier side Attram De Visser Academy for $35,000.
