Qualify Ghana to the next U-20 World Cup - Kurt tells U-20 team

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeone Okraku, has challenged the National U-20 men's of Ghana, Black Satellites to hoist the flag of Ghana in victory as they begin their surge to the WAFU Zone B U-20 tournament in Benin.


Addressing the team in a final goodwill message to the team at Prampram, Kurt Okraku charged the Karim Zito's side to leave a memorable mark in the tournament by returning the country back in the world stage.

He expects the team to put out a befitting performance that will make Ghana qualify to the next FIFA U-20 world cup to held in Indonesia in May 2021.
 “We expect Ghana to be represented by boys who are proud to wear our jerseys who will walk through the tunnel onto the pitch chest out to fight for glory for our country.
“It’s been a long while since we made the U-20 World Cup. And that history must be broken. That history must be broken by this group of players here.
“We play against Nigeria and La Cote D’Ivoire…these are sides we have beaten over and over before and we believe we have the quality to beat them and to win the group,” Kurt said.
The WAFU Zone B U-20 tournament is scheduled to start from 5 December to 20 December, 2020 in Benin.
