The Black Starlets of Ghana will lock horns with the Young Elephants of Cote D'Ivoire at the Stade Kengue in the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship in Togo.

Ghana is playing their last group game today and will have to secure either a win or draw to advance into the semi final but a defeat will send them out of the competition- paving way for the Flying Eagles to move into the next stage.

The Starlets were held to a 1-1 stalemate in their opening game against Nigeria thanks to a late penalty converted by skipper and Steadfast FC star Abdul Fatawu Issahaku to cancel out substitute Joseph Arumaia's early lead.
Meanwhile, the Ivorians currently sit top of Group B with three points and already through to semis following a 1-0 victory they secured against Nigeria in the opening game of Group B.
Head Coach of the Starlets Ben Fokuo prior to the game has already disclosed his boys and are ready and well prepared for this game and also calls on Ghanaian for their massive support as he believe that is what his boys need right now.
Good thing, the Starlets have no injury updates in camp with all the players well prepared and focused today.
