Ghana Football Association Technical Director Bernhard Lippert has attributed the Black Starlets early eviction from the ongoing WAFU U17 Cup of Nations to Togolese referee Vincentia Enyonam Amedome for her performance in their game against Côte D'Ivoire.

The Young Elephants thumped on the Ghanaian Starlets by 3-1 in their last group game with the losers expecting only a draw to qualify to the next stage of the tournament.

With this, the GFA have already reported the Togolese female referee to WAFU for ill performance stating she denied them two clear penalties against Côte D'Ivoire calling for a thorough investigations on her credibility and have also threatened to launched another complain to CAF.
After the Starlets exit, Bernhard Lippert- GFA technical director, has blamed referee Vincentia Amedome stating she decided their game against Ivory Coast despite admitting he wasn't impressed with the output of Coach Ben Fokuo and his charges.
The German tactician said;
"I’m not happy with the U17 performance; we have goal scoring problems. We don’t have this kind of strikers who are real strikers but in all the referee decided this match today."
"Sorry to say but this was really obvious and there is a lot of things to do. This team didn’t present itself as a team but we still have four or five prospects in the team,” he added.
“We have to discuss the performance of the team at the Executive Committee level."
