Black Satellites head coach Karim Zito speaks impressively after their resounding and emphatic 4-0 triumph over the Ngorongoro Stars of Tanzania at the Stade de Nouadhibou on Tuesday.


This happens to be the first game of Group C as Ghana marked it with a huge statement sending threatening signals to the other countries in the competition.

Dreams FC forward Precious Boah made his presence felt upfront after netting a brace in the game coupled with a Puskas-like goal netted by Abdul Fatawu Issahaku before Joselpho Barnes wrapped up the outcome on the stroke of full time.
After the game, coach Karim Zito was very delighted stating his boys have commenced very well and commended his charges for good work done despite conceding it was somehow a difficult game.
Again, he disclosed that, they punished their opponents through the pity mistakes they committed and admitted the win will boost their confidence going forward.
“Ghana are known to be slow starters in competition so it’s good that this time around we’ve changed that story."
“Am happy we won against Tanzania because though we scored 4 goals, it was not an easy match. They have some really good players but in football you are always punished with your mistakes."
“It’s a good start for us and it will propel the way players for the matches against Morocco and Gambia. It’s also good for their confidence.” 
The Black Satellites will take on Morocco in their next game on Friday with a win likely to cruise them into the next round of the tournament.
