The Ghana male U-20 side will square off with the Young Indomitable Lions of Cameroon this mid-afternoon in the first quarter final of the ongoing Total CAF U-20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania.

The Black Satellites switched from Nouadhibou to Nouakchott, where today's crunchy clash is going to be held and will have to acclamatize to the pitch and others approaching the game unlike the Cameroonians who have honoured all their games at the Stade Olympique.

Ghana lost shockingly to Gambia by 1-2 in their last game of the group stage preventing them from topping Group C which was keenly contested by them and the Young Atlas Lions- who emerged leaders in the end.
Meanwhile, the Indomitable Lions feeder team have been sensational in the ongoing tourney winning all their three games to finish as winners of Group A with the recent victory happens to be the 4-1 humiliation they handed to Mozambique in their last game.
The two comes up against each other today with Cameroon looking the favourite side on paper but coach Karim Zito insists they are ever ready to take on the Cameroonians today;
"I can assure you that after our team meetings and all what we’ve discussed after the Gambia, the boys are ready for the game against Cameroon tomorrow."
“We have also reminded the players about what is at stake and the fact that they can add their names to the history of Ghana as the team that qualified Ghana to the U20 AFCON this year and excelled.”
The Black Satellites of Ghana will have 22 players for this game having four of them injured including WAFA's Sampson Agyapong who has been ruled out of the tournament after going unconscious in their second group game against Morocco.
However, the Cameroonian have no any major injury worries at their disposal having majority of their key players like Etienne Eto'o, Kekoh, Milla etc available and poised for the game today.
