The male national U20 team of Ghana are through to the grand finale of the 2021 Africa U20 Cup of Nations after defeating Gambia on Monday afternoon.
The Ghana U20 progressed to the final of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations after a 1-0 victory over the Gambians in the first semifinal game played at the Olympic stadium.
Coach Karim Zito and his charges recorded a famous win over the West African country in the semis as a revenge to the 2-1 loss to them in their Group C last fixture.
Ghana started the game on a good note as Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Percious Boah kept tormenting the defense of the Gambians for the opener.
Dreams FC sensation Percious Boah gave the Black Satellites the lead on the 33rd minute which became the only goal to ensure them a ticket to the final.
Boah is currently leading the scoring chart of the ongoing tournament in Mauritania with three goals after five matches.
