Black Stars camp welcome Ayew and others

The Black Stars will play two international friendlies this month 

Black Stars squad has been boosted by the arrivals of Jordan Ayew and other key players ahead of the friendly games against Morocco and Ivory Coast.

Jordan Ayew, Baba Abdul Rahman, Fatawu Issahaku, Samuel Owusu and France-based Alexander Djiku joined the team’s camp in Cape Coast on Friday as preparations continue for the games.

The team is expected to leave for Rabat on Sunday evening for Morocco clash scheduled for Tuesday, June 8. 

Black Stars are keeping busy with the international friendlies after Caf postponed World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana coach C.K Akonnor hopes the games will provide the perfect replacements after the world cup qualifiers were stalled but crucially as well give him the opportunity to spend vital training fay’s with his players at the end of the regular season.

The Black Stars are pitched against South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia on the way to the 2022 World Cup.
