CK Akonnor names Ghana line up to face South Africa today; Fameyeh, Fatawu Mohammed & others start Featured

Ghana head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has announced Black Stars starting line up to battle out with South Africa in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers this evening.

Akonnor has made seven changes in his squad list for the all-important fixture against the Bafana Bafana at the FNB Stadium.

 
Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed has earned a starting berth with Majeed Ashimeru who replaces Iddrisu Baba in the midfield.
 
Duo Yaw Yeboah and Emmanuel Lomotey who tasted minutes in Ghana's 1-0 win over Ethiopia are in the line up against the South Africans.
 
Russia based striker Joel Fameyeh will be leading the attack for the senior national team of Ghana in today's encounter.
