Black Stars demolishes Golden Kicks 5-1 in friendly ahead of World Cup Qualifiers Featured

Ghana demolished lower-tier side Golden Kicks in a warm up game on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium to give coach Milovan Rajevac a chance to assess his players.

The Black Stars came from behind to beat the newly promoted division one league side 5-1.


Tonight’s game forms part of Ghana’s preparations towards the final round of matches in Group G of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.


Golden Kicks announced their presence by scoring before Richmond Boakye Yiadom netted twice to give the Black Stars a 2-1 lead before half time.


The Black Stars exhibited their supremacy over Golden Kicks by piling an incessant pressure on them and going ahead to score three more goals through Jordan Ayew, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Caleb Ekuban to dust the lower side with goals. 


The Black Stars are expected to jet out to South Africa on Tuesday to continue with their buildup ahead of the game against Ethiopia on 11th, November.


However fifteen players trained today and the other players will arrive in camp tonight.
