The President of the Sports Writers' Association of Ghana (SWAG), Kwabena Yeboah has reiterated that Ghana can never succumb for Ethiopia to beat them in any encounter.

This he said, during an interview with Citi Sports ahead of the Black Stars game against the Walias on Thursday (today) in the penultimate Group G qualifier at the Orlando Stadium in South Africa.

The four time African champions needs to thrash Ethiopia convincingly to send signals to South Africa, who are occupying the top spot of the group.

"I’m not expecting anything less than total victory against Ethiopia. I’ve made this point and I’m not being cynical that if we can't beat Ethiopia, there is absolutely no reason to go to the World Cup Cup because, no disrespect to Ethiopia, they are one of the weakest side on the continent."

Ghana will end their qualifying campaign against South Africa in Cape Coast on Sunday.
