American side Rayo OKC appoints Black Stars Video Analyst Gerard Nus as Head Coach Featured

Black Stars of Ghana video analyst, Gerard Nus, has been appointed as the new Head Coach of American second-tier side Rayo OKC, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.
 
The 31-year-old was named as the next gaffer of the club following the departure of Coach Alen Marcina on Friday ahead of their league game against New York Cosmos.
 
He joined the Oklahoma-based club from Rayo Vallecano de Madrid for the rest of the USL First Division League campaign.
 
“Gerard brings with him a wealth of experience to Oklahoma City, having worked with well-known clubs in a number of countries,” the chairman of the club Raúl Martín Presa told the club official website.
 
“Through the knowledge gained from his coaching stints all over the world, we believe he is the right person to lead Rayo OKC moving forward.”
 
Gerard Nus was part of the technical team of the Black Stars that represented Ghana at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
 
He is still under contract with Ghana, per Kickgh.com checks.
