The Black Stars of Ghana play their final hurdle of the African Cup of Nation (AFCON) qualifier this afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium against the Amavubis of Rwanda.

Ghana has already qualified to the next nations cup in Gabon with a game to spare and will play for formality against Rwanda and will play to thrill travelling fans to the stadium with all ecstasy.

This encounter will see a lot of local players making waves in the senior national team as five of them have been called to don the national team jersey.

Richard Ofori of Wa All Stars and Kadiri Mohammed of Ashanti gold who has signed a four -year-deal with Austria Vienna have already had a feel of playing for the senior national team with the latter yet to make his debut.

Abednego Tetteh of Bechem United, Emmanuel Ocran of Wa All Stars and Dauda Mohammed of Kumasi Asante Kotoko had late call ups to the Black Stars as some "known" players made themselves unavailable for this match and will get the chance to make a minute or two in this game if called upon by Avram Grant.

However, the Amavubis of Rwanda will also play with the name of having the tag against Black Stars but will go no where even with a win which is highly unlikely.

They have had a good qualifying round to Gabon but was not enough to overtake Ghana and will look for a pay back when they lost against Ghana in Rwanda by Mubarak Wakaso's lone goal.
