AFCON 2019: Samuel Owusu set to start for Ghana against Cameroon

The budding talented winger is expected to start for the Black Stars of Ghana against Cameroon on Saturday, has learnt.

FK Cukaricki winger Samuel Owusu is set to be handed a starting role by Coach Kwesi Appiah in Ghana's second Group F match against Cameroon.
The 23-year-old is set to replace Thomas Agyepong who has been ruled out of the crucial match this weekend due to injury.
He was in action when the Black Stars were held to a 2-2 draw by Benin at the Ismailia Stadium last Tuesday.
The Serbia-based forward replaced Thomas Agyepong who sustained a thigh injury during the match on the 35th minute.
After John Boye's red card incident, he was replaced by Columbus Crew defender Jonathan Mensah on 59th minute after enjoying 24 minutes.
Owusu earned a debut call-up to the senior national team following his explosive performance in the Serbian Super Lig where he scored seven goals with 10 assists in 33 games.
