EXCLUSIVE: Shafiu Mumuni and three Ashanti Gold players earn Black Stars 'B' call-up

The Miners quartet have been handed call-ups to the home based senior national team of Ghana ahead of the 2020 CHAN qualifier, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.

Coach Maxwell Konadu has invited four players from Ashanti Gold SC to beef up his squad at the Black Stars 'B' camp.
 
Skipper Shafiu Mumuni, who scored hat-trick against Akonangui FC in the CAF Confederation Cup last weekend has earned a call-up to the team.
 
Midfield trio James Akaminko, Appiah McCarthy and Abdul Latif Anabila have also been handed an invitation to the team following their explosive output at the Obuasi based club.
 
Earlier today, Five Asante Kotoko players namely Richard Arthur, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Felix Annan and Justice Blay received an invitation from the technical handlers of the Black Stars 'B'.
 
The Black Stars 'B' have already started preparations for their qualifier against Burkina Faso in Kumasi with 27 players.
 
The Black Stars “B” are scheduled to play Burkina Faso in a double header tie for a place in next year’s CHAN Tournament.
 
Coach Konadu’s side are also expected to represent the country in the upcoming WAFU tournament to be staged in Senegal.
