Kotoko duo earn Black Stars 'B' call-up

The Asante Kotoko duo have received an invitation to the home based senior national team of Ghana for their next month qualifier with Burkina Faso.

Coach Maxwell Konadu has handed a call-up to Augustine Okrah and Patrick Yeboah ahead of their game with Burkina Faso in September.
The two players received a late call-up to beef up the Black Stars 'B' on Monday afternoon.
Yeboah, who joined Asante Kotoko from fellow Premiership club Karela United last month had been a top performer for the Porcupine Warriors in their CAF Champions League campaign.
Okrah also returned to the Kumasi-based club after an unsuccessful stint in India with NorthEast United.
The duo have joined James Akaminko, Abdul Latif Anabila, Shafiu Mumuni, Justice Blay, Appiah McCarthy, Richard Arthur, Felix Annan and Emmanuel Gyamfi.
The Black Stars “B” are scheduled to play Burkina Faso in a double header tie for a place in next year’s CHAN Tournament.
Coach Konadu’s side are also expected to represent the country in the upcoming WAFU tournament to be staged in Senegal.
