Black Meteors arrive in Ghana after Algeria win

The Black Meteors of Ghana landed in the country on Thursday morning after their qualification to the third edition of the CAF U23 Cup of Nations.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his charges have arrived in Ghana after beating the Algeria U23 team to book a ticket to the 2019 CAF U23 Cup of Nations to be held in Egypt.
The team touched down in the West African nation on Thursday morning after landing in Ivory Coast from the Algeria on Wednesday evening.
A lone goal from captain Yaw Yeboah ensured the Black Meteors to qualify on a 2-1 aggregate after the first leg tie staged in Ghana at the Accra Sports Stadium ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Ghana have joined the likes of Mali, Zambia Cameroon, Ivory Coast, South Africa and others for the CAF U23 Cup of Nations which will be staged between 5-22 November 2019 in Egypt.
The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the 2020 Olympics Games.
