The Black Meteors will have to wait till Friday to confirm qualification to the 2020 Olympic Games after losing on penalties to Côte D’Ivoire on Tuesday.

The National U23 side needed a win over their Ivorian counterparts to confirm qualification to the 2020 Olympic Games and the final of the U23 AFCON on Friday.

Captain Yaw Yeboah equalized in the second half after the Ivorians took the lead 15 minutes into the game.
