Anthony Annan eyes Black Stars return Featured

The midfield enforcer is relishing for a return to the senior national team of Ghana.
Finland based Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan says he will gladly accept an invitation from Black Stars head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor.
Annan revealed that he is ready to make his way back into the Black Stars after his long absence.
The 33-year-old has been a standout performer for Finnish top-flight side FC Inter since his arrival at the club last year.
He was believed to have retired from international football after making his last appearance for the four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions in 2013
“I am available for selection if he [CK Akonnor] needs me,” Annan told Kumasi-based radio station Akoma FM
‘’I am still playing active football in Finland. Ghana is my country and I cannot turn my back to my nation if my services is needed."
“I don’t know much about C.K Akonnor but I know he was selected based on his competence and I believe with our support, he can surely deliver,” he added
He has featured for several clubs in his football career such as Schalke 04, Vittesse Arnhem, 1860 Munich, HJK, Osasuna, IK Start, Rosenberg among others.
Annan has capped 64 times for Ghana with two goals to his credit
