PREVIEW: Russia vs Egypt - Can Salah save the Pharoahs?

Russia is facing a tough challenge to beat Egypt on Tuesday at the St Petesberg Stadium, fresh from a 5-0 win over Saudi Arabia, the host nation is seeking to write off Egypt and book a place in the next stage of the competition.
The Pharoahs have their own problems as they fell to a one nil defeat from Uruguay and must win this game to have any chance of progressing.
Their talisman Mohammed Salah who sat out the whole game against Uruguay is expected to start against Russia.
'Salah completed the entire training session with his team-mates and ready to play against Russia', Egypt's team manager Leheta told
The former African Champions showed a spirited performance against the Uruguans despite losing to a late Giminez header.
Coach Hector Cuper has to do do everything in his capacity to snatch all three points from the Russians with the return of Salah set to boost their chances even further.
Russia were ruthless in their opening game agaisnt Saudi Arabia with Dennis Cheryshev bagging a brace on the occasion.
