Liberty Professional vs Medeama SC: Preview, Team News & Line ups

Liberty Professionals welcome Medeama SC to the Carl Rheindorf Park at Dansoman for their Match Day 3 fixture in the Ghana Premier League.

Liberty Professionals are yet to stamp authority in their games this season recording two draw games in their first two games of the season.

The last time they played at home was against Legon Cities FC in the season opener where they managed to salvage a two goal down to run away with a 2-2 draw in somewhat could be described as a vintage comeback to earn a point.

This is a game that the "Scientific Soccer Lads" will be yearning for, in drawing a path to finishing in a respectable position at the end of the league season.

To draw the confidence of the team back into the season, a win should be a must for David Ocloo's side playing at the comfort of their home.

Playing against a free scoring Medeama SC needs much efforts and preparedness to ensure all stakes remain high to push hard for all three points.

David Ocloo who says his side is ready and well geared for this encounter means Liberty Professionals will have to tighten their walls to prevent Medeama SC from stealing the show as the latter have scored three times in their last two visits at Dansoman.

"We've prepared well and expecting nothing but a positive result; nothing but a win. We've done a lot and this time around I'm positive we're going to take the three points," Ocloo said.

Even though Medeama SC have only had a point in their last two visit to Liberty Professionals, they've had a solid performance that should guide them into this fixture.

They have lost 3-2 and drawn 1-1 at Dansoman which Samuel Boadu's side will rely on in ensuring that they get a reasonable result at the end of 90 minutes should they up their performance a little.

Attacking wise, the capture of Bernard Ofori, who's highly likely to be absent in this encounter, will add more purpose to their already free scoring side.

New import Price Opoku Agyemang who has already scored three times in two game has promised to continue scoring for Medeama SC which the defenses of Liberty Professionals will have a mammoth task in curbing the threats he poses.

Ibrahim Yaro who part of the team and Kwasi Donsu who featured late in their game against Hearts of Oak should be ready for a start against Liberty Professionals for Medeama as Richard Boadu has already been a solid customer in the middle for the Yellow and Mauves.

One could not have called for a better encounter to open up the Match Day than a fixture between Liberty Professionals and Medeama SC at 3 PM at Dansoman.

A win for the home side will start a good season which took off in a topsy-turvy manner while a win for Medeama SC will strength their firm believe that they can win the league this season as it will push them nine points.
