PREVIEW: France vs Denmark: A point enough for France

Les Blues have qualified to the knockout stage of the 2018 World Cup following consecutive wins over Peru and Australia.
The team is now vying for the top spot in their group and a draw over their Danish opponents will be enough to secure that dream.

The former World Champions haven't been super convincing in their display so far with the talents at their disposal but have managed to secure 6 points out of 6 from their games prior to this one.

Head Coach for Denmark, Age Hareide, last month asserted that the French are 'nothing special' and the Didier Deschamps-led side will be poised to dismiss that assertion, “We talked about this between ourselves and we will want to show him that he was wrong,” midfielder Corentin Tolliso told reporters.

The Danes need a point to stave off Australia, who will be going all out for a victory  over Peru, in the other Group C game.

They have a better goal difference and better head to head when they are scaled with the Socceros.

Potential Denmark XI: Schmeichel; Dalsgaard, Kjaer, Christensen, Larsen; Schone, Delaney; Poulsen, Eriksen, Sisto; Jorgensen

Potential France XI: Mandanda; Sidibe, Varane, Kimpembe, Hernandez; Kante, Nzonzi; Dembele, Griezmann, Lemar; Giroud.
