Medeama SC midfielder Prince Owusu marked his 21st birthday in style as he made his senior Ghana debut during the Black Stars emphatic 5–0 victory over the Central African Republic (CAR) in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The young midfielder came off the bench in the 82nd minute to replace Mohammed Kudus at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes, Morocco, to earn his first international cap on what turned out to be a memorable personal milestone to cherish.

Owusu, who has been one of Medeama’s standout performers in the Ghana Premier League, looked composed and assured in midfield during his brief cameo, helping Ghana close out a dominant display.

His debut adds to a growing list of local-based players breaking into Otto Addo’s squad, as the Black Stars continue to blend youth and experience in their World Cup qualification push.
