AFC Bournemouth Managing Director Tiago Pinto has made it clear that Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo will not be leaving the club anytime soon, despite strong interest from top Premier League sides.
Semenyo, who attracted attention from Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window, committed his long-term future to the Cherries by signing a new contract until 2030.
Bournemouth reportedly rejected multiple bids for the Black Stars attacker during the last transfer window and are now preparing for renewed interest as the January window approaches.
However, Pinto has dismissed any possibility of a sale, emphasizing that the club views Semenyo as central to their long-term project.
“Antoine is an important part of our vision at Bournemouth,” Pinto said. “He’s happy here, and we’re happy with his progress. He won’t be leaving in the foreseeable future.”
"Antoine has been amazing this season.
"I think he's a lovely player, a lovely boy. For us it was amazing to feel that he would be happy to stay one more season even if other clubs were around him.
"I think he scored eight or nine goals this season, so we couldn't be more happy."
With no release clause in his current deal, Bournemouth remain in full control of the forward’s future. Any club hoping to sign the 24-year-old would have to meet Bournemouth’s valuation, reportedly around £70 million.
Semenyo has been in sensational form this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in seven Premier League appearances, making him one of Bournemouth’s standout performers since the start of the 2025/26 campaign.
The club remains determined to keep hold of the former Bristol City star, whose explosive pace, versatility, and growing maturity have made him a fan favourite at the Vitality Stadium.
