Former Asante Kotoko striker, Albert Amoah has made an explosive start at new club Al Ahly Benghazi with a brace in his first game to trounce Egypt lower-division side Nejmet Sanai Star FC in a pre-season friendly.

The 23-year-old joined the Butchers just last week and has already joined the team’s preseason camp in Cairo, Egypt to prepare for subsequent tasks ahead.

They engaged in a preparatory game earlier today where they thrashed their Egyptian counterparts with Albert Amoah netting a brace in the game to propel the win.

Two other braces from Nigerian international Gabriel Orok and Moses coupled with the other from Switch were enough to seal the win for the Libyan giants.

Albert Amoah spotted in the number 31 shirt, didn’t only get on the scoresheet but delivered a top class performance and is looking forward to doing same subsequently.

Al Ahly Benghazi will continue some few additions to strengthen their squad and also work hard on the pitch itself to prepare adequately for the 2025/26 football season.
