Access Bank Division One side Great Olympics are set for a handsome payday after it has emerged they will receive 30 percent of Albert Amoah’s onward transfer fee following his sensational transfer from Asante Kotoko to Libyan giants Al Ahly Benghazi.

Amoah, who joined Kotoko from the Oly Dade last season, wasted no time becoming one of the Porcupine Warriors’ most lethal weapons.

With 16 goals in 30 league appearances, the electric forward was the heartbeat of Kotoko’s attack, combining pace and ruthless finishing to torment defenders across the Ghana Premier League.

His dazzling form didn’t just win hearts at the fold of the Porcupine Warriors, it caught the attention of scouts abroad, paving the way for a big-money move to Libya. Though the exact fee remains undisclosed, Olympics inserted a 30 percent sell-on clause in the deal when Amoah joined Kotoko and now, they’re ready to cash in.

But there’s a twist. Great Olympics CEO Oluboi Commodore wants transparency from Kotoko over the figures involved in Amoah’s sale.

“We deserve our fair share from the deal, and Kotoko must be open about the transfer details,” Commodore is said to have stated. “The clause was clear when we sold the player, so we expect everything to be handled professionally.”

22-year-old Amoah shone on the continental stage, netting two goals in four CAF Confederation Cup appearances, proving his pedigree beyond the local scene.
